Forever Young and MAD

Who says you don't age gracefully?
This pretty face does!
He keeps getting better with age.. and more LOCO too.
Tonight's offering is from the maestro himself,
back from land of broken promises and moral deficiencies.
Hey madman, "The joker's on you".
Once a young "Men", now a retired dreamer?
A survivor from another episode along with all the other post apocalyptic
crabs and roaches.
Remember..... The Masks are Coming OFF, so smile
And do as the joker says..
"Never Buy Into Your Own Legend"

Liquid (on your side)

A worrbbly acid, percussive infused, hotrageous House moment captured in 1403. After no sleep and even less sanity-- a moody MPC and possibly some long term drug interactions, Liquid was born. Once in the box, rearranged, flipped and flopped, a tinge of B94 "house is for puffs aggression," and you get something that may be tech, or glitch, or electro, or whatever the fuck they're calling it these days? ....umm Nashville House???
Although only a working title, this it what she came to be known as, we present....

Release - Mixed By Aaron Ochoa

Once upon a time, way back in the day, our resident con man and house music beater Aaron Ochoa swindled Smirnoff Liquor out of a couple of cases of booze. Leave it to the AO to civilize my tastes... I thought Thunderbird and Mad Dog 20/20 was top shelf for years until going on a smirnoff vodka tear for a few months. Anyways, when the dust settled and I was cleared of all charges, I came to find out that AO did a mixtape for these guys. Listening to it today reminded me of how far the man ran the gamut on house music with tracks from himself, Paul Johnson, DJ Skip, Iz & Diz, and Derrick Carter. I think I'm gonna make myself a raspberry infused screwdriver for breakfast now.

House + Base Dub

So the good people at Studio 1403 used to throw a small event every third friday in the heart of the East Nashville ghetto called House + Base. Along with AO & Blond!e, we managed to bring in talented creative people like Rx2 & Oliver Dodd and provide a forum for new music, brand new studio creations, different dj sets and the marriage of red bull cola and jim beam. Alas, the night came to an end with very little support. We think the white people were scared to come out to the hood and the black people were scared of the music... or maybe everyone was scared that Blond!e was really gonna play a DONK set. Anyways, House + Base Dub was born on the same premise, experimenting to infinite end in the studio and coming up with a very unlikely creation capturing that moment in time.

Its that new new...

Ok, well some asshole (probably not this guy either) managed to delete a post, so we try again.

Anyways, got another ochoa edit for ya today. We slicked up Kid Cudi's 'Super Boo' all crispy for the dancefloor dedicated to all those super boos that used to wash your clothes and managed to never shrink your favorite Mecca polo shirt. Wasn't those the days? I need some detergent now.

I Got The Blues

Why so serious???
Cause Life is Blue.
Fleeting moment of the American Inferno,
same old shit, nothing new.
An empty window, a silent view
It was so much easier, not being You...

Life of MPC Clocks....

We can't get away from the edits it seems.  At least for now kids... we have plenty of original material up at our myspace, but blackmailing people to take pics of our beautiful mugs is quite the task.  Might have to dig up some old mug shots or something.

Anyways, today's Ochoa edit comes from Jay-Z's "Party Life" vs. Coldplay's "Life of Clocks" mashup courtesy of Viva La Hova.  As usual, nurtured and tweaked up for the djs and crispy for the dancefloor.

Embrace The Martian (Studio 1403 edit)

Still embracing the ochoa edits around this piece.  Today's offering is Kid Cudi's seminal "Embrace The Martian" slicked up a lil bit for the djs, chicken heads and fat girls.  Stay Tuned.
